Next week's meeting (19th September) will include such skills as a Demonstration of Techniques - Panning, Long exposures, Multiple Exposures, ICM, Composites, and more.
Some dates for the diary (not forgetting our own programme of course) include
- Lowlands Surf competition, Belhaven Bay, Dunbar, Saturday 16th September, starting at 9am
- Wex Photographic have a 'Reps Day' on 21st September where not only will there be opportunities to grill experts on how their kit actually works, but also some potential discounts.
- 23rd September 'JibFest' (£3) - a variety of water based sports events at Fox Lake : "Our annual wakeboarding competition and festival! Supported by Red Bull. An open wakeboarding competition for all ages, with huge prizes and multiple competition categories. Food, drink, and non-stop music throughout the day! "
- The Guild of Photographers have a (charged, but you don't need to be a member of the Guild) event in Peebles on 27th and 28th September - an "opportunity to listen to some inspirational speakers, take part in workshops, the Joker Cosplay model from Session Days (website), grab photography and business mentoring opportunities, meet some great suppliers and socialise with like-minded people all in one place or hub"
- Surf Competition at Pease Bay (link) 7th and 8th October
