Portrait challenge. Following on from Andy B's mini-masterclass on portraiture, grab a household member or socially distance from someone less intimate , set up indoors or out ( Covid and hypothermia rules apply) and take a portrait or two. No dogs , cats, mice or budgies unless they at least look human.
Remember your background , shallowish depth of field, focus on the eyes and put your subject at his / her ease. (Sweeties are good, but not gobstoppers).
Send to- Treasurer@HaddingtonCameraClub.org.UK on or before 16th February.
Note "Treasurer", not "Secretary" as we mistakenly showed earlier.
Tuesday 2nd February involved a "How-to" on acetate printing from Derek, a portraiture mini masterclass from Andy B, five photos from Tony H and Grace H, followed by an entertaining cross platform A/V competition from Colin. They said it couldn't be done and they were nearly right, but in the event I think we mostly managed. If you missed any, or couldn't see them with sound, which is mostly down to how fast your broadband link is, you can see them all again and vote for 1st and second on Colin's website. To keep it private to members, the link is on the MEMBERS ONLY PAGE.
