A very wide range of topics and images tonight. We had 5 of Bill's images- I'm not sure if I have actually been in the Orkney museum he showed, or if I have seen his image before at the club. It seemed oddly familiar- whereas I struggled to identify East Linton main street, devoid of traffic!
Andy took his significant images from other photographers (as I just realised it's my turn next week, I may do the same). I can't imagine my wife letting me throw 26 pails of water and 78 cats across the living room, no matter what effect I'm after. Was Dali married?
Ian showed us how to do astrophotography properly, with or without a 36" telescope. Hey- I suspected we had a pro in Ian and now I know. I loved the "Thunderbirds" movie. That is an impressive set up he has. Nice to have darkish skies, too. No streetlamps. I just want to know-how come everyone else's job took them to nice places, like Hawaii?
Grace laid out the rules for laying stuff flat. This should be easy for me, as judges often say my pictures look flat.
