Hi all, next Thursday evening (28th November), North Berwick Photographic Society will host us for the annual 'Match an Image' competition. Your committee, and especially the Competition Secretaries have been working hard curating a set of images to match (I mean beat...) any image NB are able to put up against us. The idea of the competition is that one team presents an image, probably of diverse details (such as a landscape, with a bridge, a rainbow, and a beach, and a dog, and ....) but equally may be quite obscure (an abstract?) - the other team then rifles through their set of images to find one that is of good quality and in some way is a match (eg, a dog running across the beach at Belhaven bay.... or similar colours and structure as the abstract). Then the judge rules on whether the image is a good photo and a match - or not. It's good fun, noisier than Prime Minister's Question Time (and just as well behaved) and Haddington really should win, if the Judge is any good at all 😉
Featured image, one of Rudolf's - that may or may not make it to the MAI competition. Wait and See.
Please come along and support your club.
Before that, on Tuesday, we have a zoom meeting where John Glynn will critique and judge the recent submissions for the 'Negative Space' theme competition. Watch out for Grace's email with the zoom link.
