"Your members may be interested to know that the entry deadline is approaching for the Scottish Nature Photography Awards 2023, celebrating nature, wildlife and landscape photography and filmmaking in Scotland.
All online entries must be made by midnight (24:00 GMT) on Thursday 30 November 2023.
All images & videos must be uploaded by 4pm (16:00 GMT) on Thursday 7 December 2023.
The Awards are open to professional and amateur photographers and filmmakers from around the world, but images must be taken in Scotland within 5 years of the closing date.

Scottish Nature Photographer of the Year 2023
Environmental
Natural Abstract
Scottish Botanical
Scottish Landscape - The Land
Scottish Landscape - Sea & Coast
Scottish Landscape - Urban Greenspace
Scottish Wildlife Behaviour
Scottish Wildlife Portrait
Junior Scottish Nature Photographer of the Year 2023 (open to under-18s). Up to 5 images on any Scottish nature subject.
Student Scottish Nature Photographer of the Year 2023 (for full or part-time students over-18 undertaking a course with a photography element). Portfolio of 3 images on the theme of 'Coexistence'.
Scottish Nature Video Award 2023 for short films on a nature, wildlife or landscape theme made in Scotland by professional or amateur filmmakers.

Niall Irvine - Photographer & co-organiser of the Awards
Winning images and videos will be featured in a Touring Exhibition in 2024. Winning and shortlisted images and videos will be featured in the Portfolio Yearbook 2023.
