It barely feels like we've got started, and here we are already, no more camera club meetings in 2023(*). I've blogged most weeks since midsummer and all posts are still available, so I'll not recap here - but you'll appreciate it's been a full and varied agenda and the club owes everything to all club members (and especially those who organise). The final meeting of the year was the traditional Mince Pie and Quiz meeting - and we were certainly well catered for (Panettone too. Do designers have Pantone Cake?). The quiz was the usual mix of fiendishly obscured images of local scenes, and devilish questions of a broadly photographic theme. Einstein, Muybridge, Curie and Becquerel joined us, as did The Queen. This week's featured image is from Ian, and shows Nacreous Clouds over East Lothian. For more info about these, see here, and here.
(*) - rest assured, we have a packed programme for the rest of the season, see here, starting 9th January 2024 (2024!) - back in the Poldrate at 7.30pm. Look forward to a smart telescope and potentially an indoor/outdoor session. Bring cameras.
