Fran Goodman

My interest in photography dates back to my Dad who was always an avid photographer and having purchased my first SLR in 1983 I thought I was set. However family and budgets intervened and its only in the last 15 years or so I have picked it up again as a major interest. I would describe myself as a “Jack of All Trades” enjoying trying my hand at varying genre and [ sometimes ] managing to improve my skills.
My main areas of interest are wildlife over the summer months and astrophotography and more creative indoor topics in the winter months however I will photograph anything which catches my eye and which I think will make an interesting and engaging image.
I joined HCC to meet other like minded people and to learn - I’m not competitive at all but can see how taking part will force me out of my comfort zones which has to be good.
