Portrait Night

Tuesday night was Portrait Night - the studio strobes that were donated to the club last year were set up with some considerable effort in the Hall and lots of members (plus honorary member, Freddy) were sitters, models, subject and chatterers. After some discussion about competition marking methods, we got on with the not so serious practice of working out how to make cameras fire the strobes. I discovered that a phone flash wont trigger a strobe (LED vs Xenon apparently), got to do these things properly.  There are a few images below in the gallery.

Next week we're back on Zoom for 'A Passion for Seascapes' by Kevin John Pigney - seascapes, landscapes and long exposures.
