These images are from my early years in taking photgraphs. From 1988 I started getting paid to essentially photograph football and rugby matches. So, for about 30 years I didn't bother too much with shooting photographs for myself. Now that I am an amateur I can do what I want. Photographing for myself usually means looking for a flat perspective, possibly with the hint of movement or interruption. 

Photographs that inspired me at the beginning would be Wall Street, Paul Strand; Meudon, Andre Kertesz, Pavement, Ernst Haas and Joel Meyerowitz's Storm over Truro from the Cape Light book.
