Naming of Competition Entries

Name each image according to the following format :

Competition name_Category number_Title_Member number

Season starter_Cat 3_Loch Lomond_2399

If the competition does not have categories, then-

Nature_Bird on stick_2399

Add an N after your membership number if this is your first year in the club.

Please do add the word 'Cat', before the Category number. Don’t include the word “Competition” or the words “Member number”, just put the number itself.

The reason for this is to make things easier for the Competition Secretary , who does not want to have to rename files before they can be sent to a judge.

So - if I submit three images for the annual competition, the file names should look like this:-

Annual_Group 3_Pentland Hills_2399

Annual_Group 2_Postage Stamp_2399

Annual_Group 4_Camel with bricks_2399

The Competition Secretary can copy those three straight into a folder. No renaming required. If files are not named, they may not be entered.
