The Annual Competition Trophy is awarded to individual who achieves the highest cumulative score with their 3 images in the Annual Competition.

The Colour Trophy is awarded to the best DPI in the Annual Competition

The New Faces Cup

This cup is awarded to the newcomer who achieves the most points over their 3 images in the Annual Competition.

The New Faces Cup was not awarded in Season 2022-2023.

The Johns Apps Trophy

This was previously awarded for the best printed image in the Annual Competition. Due to COVID this award was not presented for the years 2020 - 2022. However it was decided to ask members of the public to vote for their favourite printed image in our Annual Exhibition in June/July 2023 and the trophy will be awarded at our next AGM in March 2024.

Results from 2024-2025 :

Annual Trophy - Muriel Huggins - highest cumulative score for three images in the annual competition. Two of these images are in the gallery immediately below. The Annual Competition was judged by external judge David Sadler, the recording of the meeting can be accessed via this (members only) link.

Carlyle Cup - Sally Anderson - highest score over the three externally judged competitions (161 points).

The Colour Trophy goes to Rudolf Hummel, his image can also be seen below.
Justyna wins the Lothian Cup for the highest newcomer score in a judged competition.
Muriel also wins the John Apps Trophy.
