Thanks to our judge David Kissman (see David's website here), many members were treated to careful analysis of their submission of a set of three on a theme of 'Modes of Transport'. It was interesting how much interpretation there was on that theme. David's comments were enlightening and his guidance helpful. As often happens, the matter of naming an image came up - in David's opinion the title wouldn't influence his marks or judgement but can be helpful to guide the judge towards something the photographer wishes to draw the viewer's eye to.

Congratulations to all participants, and especially the winners. Hopefully we can show the gallery here soon. Thank you too to Elaine for delivering the substantial organisational skills that are needed to keep us all on track with this - competitions are a substantial part of most clubs' schedules and part of how we practice new skills.

Talking of galleries - we have new 'Members of the Month' - Jim and Harry - who are showing their work online here. Have a look, and thank you Harry and Jim.

We also have a gallery of images accepted by the Glenkinchie distillery for exhibition - have a look here.

That's it for the look-back. If you're a member, have a look at the post describing what's coming up. If you're not a member, you could can always get a peep from the Programme page - and why not consider joining us ?
